I really don’t want to turn this into a photography blog, because that’s not what you guys read it for! However, besides nannying, that’s what my weekends have been consisting of and will be for the next several weeks.
This past weekend I met my clients somewhere I had never been before, so that was pretty exciting, but nerve-wracking at the same time. After our session was over, I did a little more exploring and I’m already trying to find time in my schedule to go back!
We met in a little place called Seaport. It’s right on the water, at the very tip of Manhattan, and just one subway stop from me in Brooklyn. It’s actually directly across the water from Brooklyn Heights.
We took some photos on a side street and then walked over to the water to end our session. After we got done with our session, I walked back over to the store and shops. I stopped at a local place for a latte and strolled around the streets. They had some lights strung up between some buildings, and a wine and beer garden type set up. I’m not sure if that is always there or something special was happening, I’ll keep you guys posted because it sure was cute!
Then I walked back down to the water, to a different are than where we took pictures. They had so many beautiful boats docked by the water, and of course the sun was setting in the background, which made the whole scene even more picturesque.
I didn’t spend as much time here as I would have liked, but like I said, I’m going to make my way back over there one day and then I’ll have more to report on Seaport.
Always looking for adventure,
